The Transport Scot Pass Collect App offers a streamlined solution for managing concession travel passes associated with a National Entitlement Card, Young Scot Card, or saltirecard.

With this app, users can:

• View and verify the concession travel passes available on their smartcard.
• Collect any eligible concession travel passes or vouchers onto their own card.
• Facilitate the collection of concession travel passes or vouchers onto another individual's card.

Notably, if you are aged between 16 and 21 and possess a valid card, the app enables the collection of a young person’s free bus pass on your behalf.

For residents of Orkney or Shetland who meet specific eligibility criteria—such as being over 60, disabled, volunteering, or aged 16-18—the app also provides the capability to download ferry vouchers.

Users should ensure that their devices are equipped with NFC (near field communication) technology, which is the same feature used for contactless payment methods.

The app is designed to guide users through the process of reading a smartcard and collecting bus passes or ferry vouchers with ease.
